Overcoming Private Practice Fears with Jenny Campagna, LPCC-S

Your Turn Counseling is my private practice, which I started four years ago while working full time at an agency.  Two years ago I left my agency job to work solely in this practice, where narrative and expressive arts modalities are my jam. I am currently working, alternately reluctantly and jubilantly, on my Registered Expressive Arts Therapist designation through Expressive Arts Florida Institute.  I attended The University of Dayton received a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Dayton and hold undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Women’s Studies from The Ohio State University. 

I am looking forward to a discussion of how self-created barriers around professional identity can be challenged to meet career goals.  Giving ourselves permission to course correct, learn from mistakes, and not to be the expert might paradoxically be the areas to lean into for our increased authenticity and efficacy. I often say that our lives aren’t missing a single puzzle piece, they are giant murals and we can paint over the colors that no longer suit us.
